Carmelo Anthony gives car to teenager with cancer before Knicks’ Christmas Day game vs. Celtics

Before stepping onto the court for the Knicks’ Christmas Day matchup with the Celtics, Carmelo Anthony helped a 17-year-old fan with cancer step into his brand new car in the basement of Madison Square Garden.

The Garden of Dreams foundation teamed up with the Carmelo Anthony Foundation in bringing Christmas cheer to Jarell Lara, who suffers from Langerhan’s Cell Histiocytosis, a rare form of cancer, according to ESPN.
