With $2 million donation, Cooper pushes stem-cell research

The Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, which just commemorated its very first class of graduates last year, received a sizeable private donation that will help pave the way for stem-cell research at the institution.

The $2.2 million gift is the largest of its kind ever given to the medical school. It will be dispersed over three years to be dispersed for three different fields of focus within stem-cell research.
